Gertraud A. (Luttenberger) Cales

Gertraud A. Cales, 90, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on September 10, 2023 at St. Mary Medical Center.

Gertraud was born on January 16, 1933 in Nurnberg, Germany.

In November 1954, in Nurnberg, Germany, she married Everette Cales who preceded her in death. Surviving Gertraud are her daughter, Barbara J. Cales of La Porte; and granddaughters, Danielle N. Lipke, Susanne Cales, and Charlotte Baldwin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Manfred "Fred" Cales.

Gertraud was a homemaker, who enjoyed reading.  She loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Gertraud considered it an honor to serve her family.

A Graveside Service will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Pine Lake Cemetery with Pastor Jeremiah Mitchell officiating.
