Teresa Ann Kellems, 57, of Michigan City, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Franciscan Health Michigan City.
Teresa was born in La Porte, IN, on November 28, 1959 to Richard Lee and Patricia E. (Houston) Kellems.
Surviving are her beloved mother, Patricia (Tom Perschke) Kellems of La Porte; sister, Victoria (Dan Harcz) Kellems of Niles, MI; nieces, Patricia Shinn of Michigan City, Ashley (Titus) Dawson of Portsmouth, NH, and Brittney (Nate) Carlson of Bloomington, IN; nephew, Elliott Shinn of Michigan City; great-nieces, Lily Allen of La Porte and Savanna Meden of Michigan City.
Teresa was a 1978 graduate of La Porte High School, she then went on to Indiana University. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, and spending time with her nieces and nephew. She worked in sales and management in the bridal industry.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Lee Kellems; brother, Michael Kellems; sister, Jennifer Kellems and both sets of grandparents.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 12 PM (CST), Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Moose Lodge, 825 Boyd Blvd., La Porte, IN 46350.
