Albert Lee McClain, 68 years old of LaPorte, IN, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Golden Living Center Fountainview.
He was born on May 24, 1943 in LaPorte, IN, Son of the late Albert and Doris (Harness) McClain.
He was married in January of 1964 to Vicki Lynn Smith who survives. Also surviving are his daughters: Kelly (Sam) Benn of LaPorte, Stacy Sacks of Denver, CO; grandson: Tyler Lee Benn of LaPorte; brothers and sisters: Jim & Lolly Schultz, Curt & Vicki Schultz, Bruce & Janet Schultz, Lana & Jeff Hough, Sue & Dave Price, Scott & Wendy Schultz all of LaPorte, Missy & john Schmuda of Virginia and brother-in-law: Ron Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter: Lindsey and 1 brother.
Albert was a 1962 graduate of LaPorte High School. He worked as a plumber for H&G Plumbing. He retired after 25 years from Roll Coater.
There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 8:30 - 10:30 A.M. at Cutler Funeral Home. There will be a Private Family Burial following at Pine Lake Cemetery with Rev. Mike Schultz officiating.
