Alice Gloria Kreamer, 82 years old of La Porte, IN, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 9, 1928 in La Porte daughter of the late Frank Edward Albert Callander and Alice Pauline Prosser.
On August 10, 1947 she married Dean Eldon Kreamer at LaPorte Assembly of God Church. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1989.
Alice worked for years at the Burger Dairy Stores in LaPorte. She then retired from LaPorte Hospital where she worked as a Nursing Assistant
Surviving are 3 sons: Jonathan (Ron) of San Diego, Paul (Dorinda) and Timothy of LaPorte; 5 daughters: Elizabeth (Carl) Blankenship, Rebekah (Terry) O'Krey, Mary (Rex) Schmaltz, Sarah (Tony) Konieczny, and Susanna Kreamer, all of LaPorte; 13 grandchildren: Kimberly, Kristy and Michael (Lindsey) Blankenship, Paul (Christine) and Steve Kreamer, Steven and Dennis O'Krey, Erik (Schalonda) Schmaltz, Sheri and Aleea Konieczny and Casey (Natalie) Cook, all of LaPorte, Jamie (Rufino.) Gayton, Jr. of New Carlisle and Jennifer (Joshua) Ellis of Chicago; 11 greatgrandchildren: David, Matthew, and Donte Blankenship, Karli, Aria and Rufino Gayton III, Skyler and Madalyn Kreamer, Ryan and Jaedyn Schmaltz and Phenix Cook; brother: Bill; sisters: Sandra and Peggy.
She was preceded in death by a son: Michael, a great grandson: Aaron, a sister: Ruth Trevitt, and brothers: Jack, David, and Chuck.
Friends will be received at the Cutler Funeral Home from 5-7:00 PM Tues. May 17, 2011 and 10-11:00 AM Wednesday.
Services will be held at Cutler funeral Home,11:00 AM Wednesday with Pastor Hugh Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in the Patton Cemetery , LaPorte
