Andrew Jason Hough

Andrew Jason Hough, 42, of La Porte, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at La Porte Hospital.

Andrew was born on January 27, 1977 in La Porte, Indiana.

On June 14, 2014 in La Porte, he married Jennifer Lyn Saylor who survives.  Also surviving are his father, Edward Strauss of Ft. Wayne; mother, Mary Ann Hough of Ft. Wayne; 5 brothers, Michael (Kayla) Strauss of Miller, Joshua (Amber) Strauss of Ft. Wayne, Daniel Strauss of Michigan City, Jonathan (Teri) Wilder of Ft. Wayne, and Zach (Maria) Russell of Ft. Wayne; sister, Amanda Russell of Ft. Wayne; grandmother, Helen Keeton of La Porte; stepmother, Pamela (Robert) Polach of La Porte; brother-in-laws, Jeremy (Rachel) Young of Rolling Prairie, Jode Saylor of Schererville, Cameron Fraze of Valparaiso, and Matthew Fraze of La Porte; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Sally Jo Fraze of La Porte; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Andrew loved cars and especially enjoyed detailing cars.  He also enjoyed watching the food channel, cooking, drinking Diet Mt. Dew, and eating Kit Kats and snack cakes.  Andrew had a great sense of humor and a big heart.  He loved taking care of his wife and enjoyed his family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Jeremy Young officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 and from 10 am until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
