Angeline "Angie" B. Klingbeil, age 81, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at IU Health La Porte Hospital. .
She was born in Chicago, IL on October 22, 1932 to Salvatore and Maria (Mazzferro) Andriano.
On April 12, 1958 in Chicago, IL, she married LeRoy Klingbeil who survives. Also surviving are her beloved daughters, Jill Klingbeil of La Porte, Gail (Mark) Johnson of La Porte, and Wendy (Jeff) Hiland of Cobb, WI; two granddaughters, Kate (Chris) Bohlin of La Porte and Sarah (Garrett Kautz) Johnson of La Porte; and a sister, Fran Andriano of Wheaton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Dehlinger and Rose Ramelow; and three brothers, Joseph Andriano, Rocco Andriano, and Dominic Andriano.
Angeline was a homemaker and a fantastic cook who loved to entertain. She was the first female school board member at St. John's Lutheran School, a past member of Beechwood Women's Club, and an active member at Bethany Lutheran Church, La Porte, IN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Bethany Lutheran Church, La Porte, IN with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating.
A time of visitation will be held from 4:30 - 7:30 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte, IN as well as an hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Carmel Cemetery in La Porte, IN.
