Ann L. Gropp, 62 years old of La Porte, IN, died Thursday, March 26, 2009 in LaPorte Hospital .
She was born December 3, 1946 in LaPorte, Ind Daughter of the late Ralph and Elnora (Benson) Zimmerman.
She was married on July 8, 1972 in LaPorte, IN to Emil J. Gropp who survives.
Surviving are Sons, Stevan (Brenda) and Ben James Gropp both of LaPorte; Daughter Judi (Michael) Foldenauer of LaPorte; Grandchildren, Austin, Debra, Brandon, Gabby, Collin, Avery and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Zimmerman.
Ann was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in LaPorte, She was in the Walther League Chorus, She loved to collect antiques and play the piano. She had worked at the former E Street Hospital as a transcriptionist.
A Graveside services will be held at Door Village Cemetery, Monday, March 30, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Ron Brauer officiating. There will be a time of visitation on Sunday. March 29, 2009 from 2-4 P.M. at Cutler Funeral Home.
