Anna "Ann" Katherine Earll Rainier, 98 years old of LaPorte, IN, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011 in Golden Living Center Fountainview.
She was born on November 24, 1912 in Ligonier, Indiana, Daughter of the late Bert and Myrtle (Stocker) Earll.
She was a Seamstress for many years in her home.
She was married to August Jelke, who preceded her in death. She was married in 1952 to Harold Rainier who preceded her in death in 1997.
Surviving are her daughter: Shirley (Norman) Duerr of LaPorte, and son: David (Carol) Jelke of LaPorte; step-son: Frank Jelke of Orland Park, IL; 4 Grandchildren: Steven Duerr, Wendy Duerr-Schultz, Ryan Jelke and Bret Jelke; 2 great grandchildren: Ashley Duerr, Dalainy Jelke and 5 step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Harold Rainier and 5 sisters and grandson: Keith Duerr.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 27th at the LaPorte Presbyterian Church . There will be a time of visitation with the family from 10-11 AM on Saturday at the Church. Arrangments have been entrusted to Cutler Funeral Home.
A Private Family Interment will take place at the LaPorte Presbyterian Church Columbarium.
