Anneliese Ruth Marlow, age 87, of La Porte, passed away on January 14, 2014 at Brentwood.

She was born on December 2, 1926 in Berlin, Germany to Theodor and Anna (Mentz) Baetz.

On March 30, 1954 in Opdyke, IL, she married Gordon L. Marlow who preceded her in death on October 13, 2004. Surviving are her daughter, Rita Marlow of La Porte; 2 sons, Homer (Gale) Marlow of Goshen, IN, Glenn (Brandy) Marlow of Rossville, IN; 7 grandchildren, Ray Marlow and Heather (Tyler) Oden of Goshen and Sydney and Zoe Marlow of Rossville, Allena, Tegan, and Elissa Weida of Rossville, IN; great granddaughter, Raelynn Kayy Marlow of Goshen, IN; sister, Ellen Baetz of Berlin, Germany; nephews, Mike Williams of Miami Beach, FL, John Allen of Chicago, IL; and niece, Janice Gahagen of Mt. Vernon, IL; and several beloved cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her infant son, C. Theodor Marlow in 1954.

Anneliese attended College of Textiles and Merchandising in Berlin. She worked as Seamstress for Levine's and also from her home for many years. Anne was a long time member of Bethany Lutheran Church in La Porte.

A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 17, 2014 with a time of visitation for one hour prior to the service at Bethany Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Carmel Cemetery in La Porte.
