Barbara King Link, 87, of LaPorte, Indiana, died on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the Fountainview Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at the Cutler Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery.
Mrs. Link was born September 21, 1916 in Belvidere, Illinois to John & Emma King. In 1953, she married Walter Link, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters Terri Kimmel, SanDiego, CA, Vania Alm, Littleton, CO, Elizabeth Satterlee, Bow, WA, Joan Coles, Salt Lake City, UT; sons Peter Link, Tulsa, OK and David Link, Houston, TX; grandchildren Zachary, Heidi, Joshua, Jesse, Jeffrey, Peter, Katie, Bennett & Hillary; and sister, Mary Louise Schober, Chicago, IL.
Preceding her in death were brothers Jack, Jim and Bill.
Mrs. Link had been a nurse at the Holy Family Hospital in LaPorte and had been the owner of the Barbara Link Shop at the corner of Michigan & Jefferson Avenues, also in LaPorte.
