Barbara Wuggazer, 73, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 6:10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at LaPorte Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Ron Brauer and Rev. David Young officiating. There will be no visitation. A private family burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
Barbara was born December 23, 1932, in LaPorte to Elias T. and Sarah (Boniface) Carlson. On October 15, 1966, in Berrien Springs, Michigan, she married John W. Wuggazer who survives.
Survivors also include daughter Deborah (Willard) Kessler of Valparaiso, IN; son Jeffrey Wuggazer of LaPorte; granddaughter Lauren Kessler; and sisters Elsie Bosworth of Norwick, NY and Betty Schadosky of Kansas City, MO.
Her parents and a brother, Richard Carlson preceded her in death.
Barbara was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to the church's general fund.
