Bart L. West, 56, of Kissimmee, FL. passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at his home.
He was born June 11th, 1959 in La Porte, IN, to Hobert and Mary (Farlow) West.
He loved gardening, traveling with his family, and doing the demolition derbys with his best friend, Dennis Nelson.
On May 31, 1978, Bart married his childhood sweetheart, Mary LaBere who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Joshua, Jeffrey, and Jared (Matthew); his daughters, Jennifer (Andy) and Julie (Jeremy); and his loving mother-in-law, Ruth Lamb. He was also a grandfather of nine, Danielle, Bradley, Cody, Haylee, Tyler, Zachary, Lucas, Katrina, and Sienna. He is survived by his brother, Joeseph(Debbie; two sisters, Norah and Sue (Jim) McKinney; his brothers, Dan (Robin) West and Scott Flora; and several nieces and nephews.
Bart was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Bret; his brother, Joe Morris West; and his sister, Helen.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center in La Porte on Monday, October 12 , 2015 at 11 AM with Pastor Ford of Landmark Baptist Church officiating. Burial will take place following the service at Pine Lake Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2015 and also from 10 AM until the time of the service at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
