Benjamin Stephen Soulcheck

Benjamin "Ben" Stephen Soulcheck, 35, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Franciscan Health-Michigan City.

Ben was born in Michigan City on July 15, 1988, to Kerry and Susan (Hatton) Soulcheck.  He is survived by his 4 children, Myah, Bryson, and Brody Soulcheck of Michigan City and Madelyn Soulcheck of La Porte; parents, Kerry and Susan Soulcheck; sister, Heather Claxton and family of Yorkville, IL; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Ben will be remembered for loving his children fiercely and for his penchant for mischievous jokes.  His greatest joy was spending time with and joking around with his children.

A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Ben's name to the Michigan City Salvation Army, 1201 Franklin St, Michigan City, IN 46360; Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1237 E Coolspring Ave, Michigan City, IN 46360; or Keys of Hope Community Resource Center, 1802 Franklin St, Michigan City, IN 46360.
