Bethel had worked outside the home at the Gary Steel Mill during the 1940's, She worked for 5 years in housekeeping at the Linkey Hotel in Valparaiso, IN and she worked at the Orange Bowl restaurant in Valparaiso for over 15 years. Most of all She was a homemaker.
Bethel was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Fred Pollock, Westley Pollock, and Alvia Pollock
3 sisters: Ruth Spears, Mildred Stowell, and Lottie Marrin and her parents.
