Betty J. Hundt, 90, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Settlers House.
Betty was born in La Porte, IN, on March 27, 1926 to Arthur and Mary (Orsborn) Rauschenbach.
On June 29, 1947 in La Porte, she married Eldred L. Hundt who preceded her in death. Surviving are her beloved children, Linda (John) Maher of New Castle, IN; Fred Hundt of Knox, IN; grandchildren, Sean (LeeAnn) Kitchell, Adam Kitchell, Keary (Abbie) Hundt, Andy Hundt, Ashley (Dave) Hedrick, Katie (Brett) Deardorff; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Kitchell, Erin Kitchell, Charli Burdick-Kitchell, Bijou Burdick-Kitchell, Logan Hundt, Hayden Hundt, Sawyer Deardorff, Hank Deardorff; sister, Zona Wisner of La Porte; sister-in-law, Hazel Hundt of Chesterton, special friend, Kate Mrozinski of La Porte.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eldred; sister, Arlene Hutcheson; brother, William Rauschenbach.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
A time of visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
