Beverly Joyce Collins, 65 years old of Kingsford Heights, IN, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in Regency Hospital Company, Portage, IN.
She was born February 15, 1944 in Devils Lake, North Dakota, Daughter of the late Ben Buntjer and Mrytle (Thomas) Elkins.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, LaPorte and retired from Stelrema and Getting Technology.
Beverly is survived by her mother; Mrytle Elkins, Avon Park, Florida, brother; Jerry Buntjer, Sleepy Eye, Minn., son; Daniel C. Collins, Macon, Ga., daughters; Tammy M. Collins and Shelia K. Collins, Indianapolis, IN and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Paul Elkins.
Friends will be received from 3-6 P.M., Sunday, June 14 at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN.
Services will be held at Cutler Funeral Home, Monday, June 15, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dennis Meyer officiating.
Burial will take place in Carmel Cemetery at a later date.
