Beverly Medlock, 75, of Belleview, Florida and formerly of LaPorte, died at 4:40 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2006. She died at Hospice House in Summerfield, Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Schumm officiating. There is no visitation. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
Beverly was born October 12, 1930, in LaPorte to Charles I. and Viola M. (O'Connell) Glancy. On October 21, 1950, in LaPorte, she married Harry L. Medlock, who survives.
Also surviving are sons David W. Medlock of San Antonio, TX, Kevin L. Medlock of Lima, OH and Michael H. (Linda) Medlock of Fairfield, OH; grandchildren Kassondra L. Samantha J., Stephen L. and Chris M. Medlock; and two great-grandchildren.
Her parents and brothers Thomas E. and Robert Glancy preceded her in death.
Beverly had worked in legal services with United Auto Workers in Lima Ohio and as purchasing Agent in Hartford, Wisconsin.
She was a 1949 graduate of LaPorte High School. She was a member of the LaPorte Presbyterian Church where she was also a choir member and she was a member of the Red Hats Society.
