Brenda Kay Wilke, 58, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at her home.
Brenda was born in Dayton, OH, on September 22, 1959 to John and Virginia Owens.
Surviving are her son, Lawrence Robert (Krista Marie) Wilke, IV of La Porte and sister, Carol (Wayne) Copeland of Hamlet. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Prater.
Brenda worked as a factory worker. She had a love for animals and enjoyed gardening as well as mushroom hunting. Brenda loved being outside especially walking.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service will take place at a later date.
