Brian Joseph Galvas

Brian Joseph Galvas, 65, of La Porte, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Brian was born on January 22, 1957 in South Bend, IN, to Robert Stanley and Dolores Bernice (Wujcik) Galvas.

On September 13, 1980 in New Carlisle, IN, he married Debra Kay Simpson who survives.  Also surviving are his sons, Joel (Lisa) Galvas and Landon (Jennifer) Galvas all of La Porte; two granddaughters, Isabella and Serena; siblings, Diane Galvas (Scott) of North Liberty, Marie Galvas of Kansas City, MO, Nicolas (Debbie) Galvas of North Liberty, Richard (Bev) Galvas of North Liberty, and Kathy (Bernie) Nemeth of South Bend; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Brian was the owner of Dial Service of South Bend. He enjoyed traveling and playing cards.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Gene Flickinger officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
