Caitlin Morgan Foreman, 26, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at her home.
Caitlin was born in La Porte, IN, on July 9, 1991 to John A. and Norma J. (Fisher) Mulzon.
On September 27, 2014 in La Porte, she married Zachary Foreman who survives in La Porte. Also surviving are her parents, John and Norma Mulzon; sister, Carie (Bruce) Roberts of La Porte; brother, William (Kathy) Mulzon of La Porte; mother and father-in-law, Derrick and Catherine Foreman of Rolling Prairie; grandmother, Loretta Vaughn of La Porte; brother-in-law, Joshua Foreman of Rolling Prairie; sister-in-law, Josephine (Chad) Wines of Rolling Prairie; nieces, Jessica Roberts, Madison Mulzon; nephews, Bryce Roberts, Brendan Roberts, and Mason Mulzon; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Corin Mulzon; grandparents, Warren and Priscilla Mulzon, and Edward Fisher.
Caitlin worked as a 4th, 5th, and 6th grade special education teacher at Joy Elementary School in Michigan City, she loved children and teaching was her passion. She was a talented artist who loved to sing. She was a former choir and show choir member at La Porte High School and sang at Carnigie Hall. Caitlin was involved in Girls on the Run, was a Zumba instructor, and a Beach Body coach. She loved to drive in the demolition derby and she loved her "Baby Girl", Willow, who was her chocolate labadoodle. Caitlin had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel and try new things. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She loved without reservations. She enjoyed life, from skydiving and paintball, to walking Willow around the park and cooking dinner together. She's left behind a great group of friends that were always there for her.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM (CST) on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Joy Elementary School, 1600 E. Coolspring, Michigan City, IN 46360 with Pastor Dan Sinkhorn officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 3 PM (CST) until the time of the service on Friday at the school.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family c/o Zachary Foreman, 2900 Monroe St., La Porte, IN 46350. Funds will be directed towards assisting and furthering special education in the area.
