Carl Edwin MacKay Lintner, 78, of Kingsford Heights, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Carl was born on May 12, 1943 in Jasper Co., IN, to Harry and Flossie Elsie (Poisel) Lintner.
On May 21, 2016 in La Porte, IN, he married Mary Zollinger Rowland, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Carla Jean Denny of Valparaiso and Carl Edwin Lintner of Wheatfield; 3 stepchildren, Megan, John, and Eric; granddaughter, Holly Parker; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Julie Morgan of Knox; beloved dog, Jo Jo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents; daughter, Katherine; brothers, Harry, Cecil, Dale, Lloyd and Alvin; and sisters, Catherine, Doris, Cory, and Evelyn.
Carl was a Machine Operator for many years at Merit Steel. He retired in 2016. He was a member of the American Legion.
Carl enjoyed fishing, good movies, and, most importantly, he dearly loved his family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
