Carol A. Miller 62, of Lafayette, IN and formerly of Michigan City, IN died March 7, 2009 in Lafayette. She was born November 12, 1946 in Michigan City, IN to the late August W. & Mildred L. (Schram) Miller.
She is survived by sister: Nancy Lisak of LaPorte, IN and nephew: Timothy Lisak and his fiancée Julia Trzcinski of LaPorte, IN.
Carol worked as a Medical Technician specializing in Blood Bank at St. Anthony's Hospital in Michigan City, IN., LaPorte Hospital, St. Elizabeth and Home hospitals, both in Lafayette, IN. She trained at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was a graduate of Elston High School and Ball State University. She was a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology and Business and Professional Women of Michigan City and the American Legion Auxiliary #37 in Michigan City, IN.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Mark Reshan officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 4-8 P.M. on Friday, March 13, 2009 at Cutler Funeral Home in LaPorte, IN. and on Saturday from 9-10:30 A.M. at the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel in Michigan City, IN.
