Mrs. Carol A. Profilovich, 58 years old of La Porte, IN, died at 1:15 P.M., Saturday, July 17, 2010 at her home.
She was born May 27, 1952 in Gary, IN , daughter of Arnold and Donna Fox Stassin. On August 10, 1974, in Griffith, IN, she married Chris Profilovich.
She was an instructional assistant for the LaPorte Community School Corporation for the last 20 years. She graduated from Purdue University in 1974. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother.
She was a member of Door Village Methodist Church and Griffith Chapter 583, Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband Chris Profilovich of LaPorte; two daughters, Carrie (Marcus) Painter of West Lafayette, IN, and Corie (Kyle) Adams of Westfield, IN; father, Arnold Stassin of Griffith, IN; one granddaughter, Nola Painter.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Stassin.
Friends will be received from 2 - 6:30 P.M. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, IN.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Cutler Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Nickrand officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LaPorte County V.N.A. Hospice or to the cancer related organization of the donor's choice.
