Carolyn Lee Dadlow

Carolyn Lee Dadlow, 67, of La Porte, IN, passed away on January 12, 2025, at Northwest Health La Porte.

Carolyn was born on January 17, 1957 in La Porte, IN, to Russell and Helen (Rhoade) Canfield.

On November 8, 1980, in La Porte, IN, she married Gregory Dadlow who survives. Also surviving are her sister, Barbara Herrold of La Porte; daughters, Jennifer (Ryan) Lowery of Indianapolis and Stephanie (William) Fischer of La Porte; grandchildren, Jett Lowery of Indianapolis, Penelope Fischer of La Porte, Hunter Fischer of La Porte, and Juliette Fisher of La Porte; cousins, Larry (Susan) Yazel of La Porte and Linda (Michael) DeMass of Mountain Home, AR; niece, Beth (Jeff) Kearney of New Hill, NC; nephew, Thomas (Rhonda) Herrold II of La Porte; and mother-in-law, Leota Dadlow of La Porte.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Russell Canfield; brother-in-law, Thom Herrold; nephew, Michael Herrold; and father-in-law, Wilbur Dadlow.

Carolyn was an accountant for many years in the banking industry. She enjoyed playing Sequence, shopping, boating, swimming, cross stitching, sewing, ceramics, and participating in Girl Scouts, when her daughters were young. Most importantly, Carolyn dearly loved her family and took great pride and enjoyment in caring for her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Zigler officiating. Burial will follow at Door Village Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
