Carrie-Jo A. Weathers "CJ", age 30 of LaPorte, IN, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at La Porte Hospital.
She was born March 26, 1986 in LaPorte, Indiana, to Gerald Weathers, Jr. and Cynthia (West) Weathers.
She graduated from La Porte High School in 2004 and worked as a server at Portofino. CJ loved bonfires and making smores for her 2 boys. She loved being in the sun and spending time with her best friend, her father. CJ loved to be around friends and family and to make people laugh and feel good about themselves.
Carrie is survived by her sons; Cayden and Joshua Weathers; parents, Gerald & Cynthia (West) Weathers; sister, Candace Heitz; brother, Evan Weathers; grandmothers, Alice Weathers, Cathy West, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother Corey Weathers; 2 grandfathers, Gerald W. Weathers Sr. and Harvey West and her uncle Sammy Jo West
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Cutler Funeral home with Rev. Jeff Zigler officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 20, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Cutler Funeral Home and from 10 AM till the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home..
Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.
