Cottie Wade, 94, of New Carlisle, Indiana, died at 2:45 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2006 at Miller's Merry Manor.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, from 10:00 11:00 a.m. A private family service will be held on Saturday at Patton Cemetery with Rev. Hugh Smith officiating.
Cottie was born January 25, 1912, in LaPorte, Indiana to Harvey & Wilhelmina (Larson) Heise. She married Homer Merrill, who was killed in action during WWII. She then married Frank J. Wade in LaPorte, who preceded her in death February 22, 1995.
A brother, John F. (Ann) Heise of Park Ridge, IL and several nieces and nephews survive.
Two sisters, Marguerite Swaim and Imogene Lamber preceded her in death.
Cottie had worked as an administrative assistant at John Hancock Insurance Company. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
