Caylin Joanne Riley-Jimerson, 6 month old infant, passed away on February 15, 2012 at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was born on August 1, 2011 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Derek Wayne Jimerson and Carmen Joanne Riley.
Surviving are her parents, Derek and Carmen, of Walkerton, Indiana; grandparents Carin Riley, Robert (Julie) Riley, and Beth Jimerson, all of LaPorte, Indiana and Lonnie (Stacey) Jimerson, of North Liberty, Indiana; great-grandparents Randall & Janice Culver, of Berne, Indiana and Jean Smith, of Three Oaks, Michigan; Aunt Melissa Wright, of North Liberty, Indiana, Uncle Michael (Aunt Rachel) Jimerson, of Germany,Uncle Lucas Riley, and Aunts Laura, Hannah,Olivia Cloud and Keira Riley, all of La Porte, Indiana; cousins Tyler Jimerson, of Texas, Autumn Wright, of North Liberty, Indiana, and Chymira Riley, of La Porte, Indiana; plus many great-aunts and uncles, second cousins, and some wonderful friends and nurses at Riley's.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents John & Wanda Riley, Fritz Smith, and Don & Ruby Jimerson.
Caylin was only here for a short time, but she was very much loved by a lot of people. It pains us so much to lose her, but we know now she is at peace and safe in the arms of Jesus. She is our beautiful little angel and we can't wait for the day when we will get to see her again.
We want to thank all of our family and friends who have prayed for us and have given us their love and support over the last 6 months and especially now. It means so much.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Cutler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, La Porte, Indiana.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 12 pm on Saturday at the Cutler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, with Pastor Steve Galloway officiating.
Burial will be in North Liberty, Indiana, following the service.
