Celeste Marie Galloway, 62, of Rolling Prairie, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 1:43 PM at Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle, IN.
Celeste was born in La Porte, IN, on March 12, 1955 to Jack Allen and Alta Mae (Pointon) Tidey.
Surviving are her beloved children, Jonathon Brown of Hartland, WI, Meredith (Doug) Newland of Rolling Prairie, Thomas, Lucas and Erika Galloway; 9 grandchildren, Amber, Jacob, Sarah, Dakota, Kayla, Hunter, Elizabeth, Abigail and Lucas; 2 great-grandchildren, Alex and Payton; siblings, Karen Searing, Wilma Christiansen, Rodger Tidey, Dorothy Chlebowski, Merlyn Jones, Elaine Perry, Kevin Tidey, Vicki Marcum and Ricki Tidey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gary; brothers, Richard, Jack and Randy; sisters, Eva and Judy.
Celeste worked in housekeeping for many years. She loved doing things with her grandchildren, drinking iced coffee, and loved Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM (CST), Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Dan McDonald officiating.
A time of visitation will be held from 9 - 11 AM (CST) on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will take place following the service at Kingsbury Cemetery.
