Celia Mullins

June 7, 1935 — June 22, 2014

Celia Ann Mullins (Walter), at the age of 79, lost her battle with cancer and joined the Lord in the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Celia is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Billy; son, Dale Edward; and daughters, Susan Riddle of Lakeville, IN, and Carol Shook of Muncie, IN. She is a grandmother of five: Timothy, Heather, Logan, Carrigan, and Zaydan. Celia has one surviving brother, Bill Walter of La Porte.

Celia was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Mae; father, Lorenzo Walter, and step-mother, Florence. Siblings preceding Celia are brothers, Lorenza and James, and sister, Francis Galloway. She has one son, Ronald Dean, that joined the Lord thirty-one years ago.

Mom was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Secretary. She rarely missed an opportunity to serve while she was in good health. Mom and Dad enjoyed the beautiful mornings God blessed them with while sitting on the porch sharing a pot of coffee and conversation. Celia shared many special times with many of us, we will miss your smiling face and the love you have given to each of us.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Curtis Southwood officiating. A time of visitation will take place on Wednesday from 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Patton Cemetery following the service.
