Charles "Chuck" Louis Harper

Charles "Chuck" Louis Harper, 85, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

Chuck was born on August 24, 1937 in South Bend, IN, to Raymond Harper and Winifred (Koehler) Harper-Shipley.

Surviving Chuck are his brother, Richard (Carolyn) Harper of South Bend; and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Chuck was a graduate of Washington Clay High School, South Bend.    Later, he became a produce manager for many years, working at A&P and Al's Supermarket.  He also previously worked for Bernacchi's.

He loved to travel when he could, but most recently enjoyed caring for the cats and wildlife on the farm of his good friend, Manny Cox.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  Inurnment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN, where he will rest adjacent to his mother.
