Charlotte A. Williams, 61 years old of La Porte, IN, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009 in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation, South Bend, IN.
She was born October 6, 1947 in LaPorte, Indiana, to Raymond and Nina (Lamb) Bowen.
On January 14, 1984 she was married to Daniel I. Williams, who preceded her in death in 2005.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Woman of the Moose #935, Michigan City for 31 years earning all local degrees possible for the members. Charlotte was very involved in crocheting prayer shaws for cancer patients with the New Day Foundation. She has made over 200 herself and had a group at Hotel Rumley Apartments crocheting and knitting.
Surviving are her parents: Raymond and Nina Bowen of LaPorte, IN; Sisters: Carol (John) Nolan of Woodridge, ILL., Nancy (Doug Kellogg) Miller of La Porte, IN; Brother: Doug (Annette) Bowen of Broken Arrow, OK; 2 Nieces: Sarah and Elizabeth Bowen
Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Cutler Funeral Home, with Rev. Everett Shattuck officiating.
There will be a time of Visitation at Cutler Funeral Home from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service Thursday, March 5, 2009.
