Christel Feeback 74, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 28, 2008 12:33 PM at La Porte Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM . Friday August 1, 2008 at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Ash Officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 4-8 P.M. and on Friday from 1:00 till 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery.
Christel was born December 18, 1933 in Schwelm, Germany to the late Karl and Ilse (Kaehler) Burck.
She was married to Thanuel R. Feeback on June 18, 1963 in La Porte who preceded her in death March 20, 1994.
Survivors include 1 Son: Bruce J. (Dawn) Feeback of Plainfield, Illinois, 3 Grandsons: Ryan, Thomas & Bryce Feeback, 3 Sisters: Ilse Sohn, Eva Jester, & Elke Ruebsam.
She was preceded in death by a brother; Karl-Heinz Burck
She worked as a tutor and became school secretary at Stillwell School and Indian Trail School from 1972-1997. She was member of the “Crossroads Club” meeting at the Crossroads Wellness Center in La Porte. The bright spot of her day and joy of her life were being around her three grandsons.
