Mickey Wright, 73, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away at 8:44 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at LaPorte Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 16, at Cutler Funeral Home with Brother Ricky Bray officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
Mickey was born August 6, 1933 in Rensselaer, Indiana to the late Wash & Helen (Mason) Masterson. On October 9, 1971, in LaPorte, she married John T. Wright, who survives.
Survivors also include daughter Trudy Makina of South Bend, IN, sons Michael Makina of San Antonio, TX, David Makina of LaPorte and Robert Wright of Columbia City, IN, daughter Patricia Wright of Granger, IN, and son
Johnny Wright of Port St. Luce, FL; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Adcock of Lady Lake, FL; and brother Dean Masterson of Moosup, CT.
Several Foster Children.
A Son, Dan Makina, Sisters Catherine Bienas Cavinder Wagner, Helen & Velma Masterson, Leota Phillips & Lula Perkins and brothers Wash "Bud", Lee "Duke" and James Masterson preceded her in death.
Mickey had worked at American Home Foods for 10 years, retiring in 1979. She was also a member of Christ Gospel Church in LaPorte.
