Mr. Clifton Lewis Ferris, 48, of LaPorte, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at 9:42 p.m. at LaPorte Hospital of natural causes.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Rev. Richard Henry Jr., officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from noon until the service. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte.

Mr. Ferris was born June 25, 1957 in Waverly, NY, to William and Elizabeth (Quick) Ferris. He was a 1975 graduate of Horseheads High School, Elmira, NY.
He was a self-employed business owner. Clifton was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, La Porte, IN.
He is survived by his Father, William Ferris of Elmira, NY; Mother, Elizabeth Ferris of Hampton, VA; 2 Sisters, Cindy (Jeff) Brett of Hampton, VA and Sheila (Russell) Hunley of Hampton, VA; 2 Brothers, William Ferris of Marlboro, NY and Henry Ferris of Candor, NY. Mr. Ferris is preceded in death by his Grandparents.
