Conway J. Elder

Conway J. Elder, 89, of Kingsbury, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Healthwin Specialized Care.

Conway was born in Brewer, MO, on August 28, 1928.

On March 1, 1953 in Perryville, Missouri, he married Pauline Barr who preceded him in death.  Surviving are his beloved children, Connie (Jeff) Greenlaw of La Porte and Theresa Elder of La Porte; 5 grandchildren, Grant Dorsey of La Porte, Greg Roberts of La Porte, Richard Roberts of CA, Kathryn Stone of La Porte and Jessica Burton of La Porte; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Bert Elder of San Diego, CA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Elder; brothers, Carl and Joe Elder; and stepsons, Ron and Larry Fritz.

Conway served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War.  He loved to fish and camp.  He was a member of the American Legion.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 PM (CST) on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Dan McDonald officiating.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM (CST) until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Kingsbury Cemetery following the service with full military rites.
