Cullen W. Lindsey

February 23, 1949 — September 8, 2003

Cullen W. Lindsey, 54, Stillwell, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday (Sept. 8, 2003) at his home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cutler Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Pastor Monroe Jones officiating. Burial will be in Salem Chapel Cemetery

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m until the service Thursday at the funeral home, 2900 Monroe St., LaPorte.

Mr. Lindsey was born Feb. 23, 1949, in Giles County, Tenn., to Edward and Lillie (Colston) Lindsey, who survive in Stillwell.

Survivors also include two sons, Brian (Becky) Lindsey, Hamlet, Ind., and Chad (Pam) Lindsey, LaPorte; six grandchildren; two sisters, Dessie (Robert William) Bealor, Stillwell, and Peggy Majors, LaPorte; and three brothers, Delmon (Patricia) Lindsey, Hamlet, James Lindsey, LaPorte, and Gary Lindsey, Westville.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Mr. Lindsey worked at Boise Cascade until 1978. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the VNA or New Hope Baptist Church.
