Cynthia "Cindi" Marie (Hartman) Zemanek

Cynthia "Cindi" Marie Zemanek, 57, of Walkerton, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Cindi was born on September 3, 1964 in Kankakee, IL, to Fred Eugene Hartman and Beverly Ann (Carlson) Hartman-Hill.

On June 5, 2004  in Hanna, IN, she married Daniel Joseph Zemanek, Jr., who survives.  Also surviving are her children, Maggie (Nick) Bohm of Hanna, Christine (Tad Hammock) Homan of North Judson, Ryan (Judy Fritter) Zemanek of Plymouth, Rebecca "Becky" Burk of South Bend, and Allison Zemanek of Asheville, NC; 6 grandchildren, Abigail, Sara Michelle, and Isaac Bohm of Hanna, Liam James and Piper E. Hammock of North Judson, and Rose Zemanek of South Bend; mother, Beverly (Thomas) Hartman-Hill of La Porte; siblings, Beth A. (Gaelen) Lehker of La Porte and Fred (Tammy) Hartman of North Judson; nephews, Nicholas (Jennifer) Peters of Lafayette, Jason Peters of Walkerton, and Kevin Day of Greentown; 6 fur babies, Bella, Bubba, Hershey, Tinkerbell, Chessey, and Rusty; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred E. Hartman; son, James Zemanek; and mother-in-law, Evelyn Zemanek.

Cindi was a homemaker.  She enjoyed sight-seeing, traveling, and vacationing.  Cindi and Dan enjoyed being "foodies".  Her greatest joy was when she became a "Mimi".  Cindi loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Burial will follow at Hanna Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
