Daniel Robert Hora

Daniel Robert Hora, 76, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Fountainview Terrace in La Porte.

Daniel was born on November 13, 1944 in Des Plaines, IL.

On June 17, 1972, he married Mary L. Jackson who preceded him in death on March 21, 2006.  Surviving are his 2 stepsons, Edward (Cheri Blackston) Jackson of MI and Truman (Beth) Jackson of Valparaiso; stepdaughter, Linda Kellbee of Portage; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; brother, Richard Hora; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Daniel served in the US Navy and worked in food delivery.  He enjoyed watching the Cubs, Bears, and wrestling.  Daniel loved music.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
