Daniel Peter Shoaf

Daniel Peter Shoaf, 39, of Kingsford Heights, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Daniel was born on November 7, 1984, in Valparaiso, IN, to Peter and Cheryl (Cannon) Shoaf.

Surviving are his father, Peter (Becky) Shoaf of Jasper, GA; brothers, Stephen (Janet) Cannon of Valparaiso, Michael (Allison) Shoaf of Michigan City, and Jeffrey (Kelcie) Shoaf of Hamlet; niece, Ivah Shoaf; 3 nephews, Nolan Shoaf, Skyler Shoaf, and Andrew Shoaf; uncles, Robert Shoaf of Osceola and Dave (Shelly) Cannon of Missouri; aunt, Joan Ackley of Mishawaka; best friend, Zac Baker of Kingsford Heights; and pitbull mix dog, Prin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Shoaf; brother, Jonathan Shoaf; niece, Katie Shoaf; grandparents, Marvin (Ivah) Shoaf and Eugene (Zelda) Cannon; and Aunt, Jeannie Napier.

Daniel was a cook. He loved cooking and doing art work. He enjoyed state parks, garage sales, movies, YouTube, and gaming.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
