Daniel A. Wheeland, 23, of La Porte, passed away at 3:19 am, Friday, October 1, 2004 as a result of an auto accident. A visitation will be held at the Cutler Funeral Home on Sunday, October 3, from 4 - 8 pm and on Monday, October 4, from 9:30 am until the Funeral Service at 10:30 am.
Daniel was born June 5, 1981 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Dr. Gary & Sharon (Stephenson) Wheeland, who survive in La Porte. Also surviiving are two brothers, Patrick C. (Debra) Wheeland of La Porte and Benjamin J. Wheeland of La Porte. Grandparents, Willard J. & Annamae Wheeland of Valparaiso, Georgia Fergus of La Porte, and Eileen Houtakker of Galveston, Indiana. Daniel was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Robert L. Stephenson.
Daniel was working at Midland Food Distribution in Westville. He graduated from La Porte High School in 2000 and attended Ball State University for 1 year.
