David Venoy Cox

David Venoy Cox, 68, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN.

David was born on October 10, 1949 in La Porte, IN, to Harry and Elizabeth (Garner) Cox.

On November 10, 1967 in Kingsbury, IN, he married Doris Stover who survives.  Also surviving are his beloved children, Shelly Sherwood of La Porte, Garry Cox of La Porte and Laurie (Kingsley) Annan of Westfield, IN;    6 grandchildren, Blake and Austin Cox, Huston and Colton Wolf, Roman and Isabella Annan; 2 great-grandchildren, Vincent and Scarlett Cox; mother, Elizabeth Nickel; 1 brother; and 1 sister; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and 1 sister.

David was a truck driver with Wanatah Trucking over 25 years.  David loved his family time especially with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed his best friend, his dog Max.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A private family service will take place at a later date.
