David Keeling

David Leon Keeling, age 57, of Michigan City, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Franciscan St. Anthony Health in Michigan City.

David was born in Greenville, KY, on October 27, 1956 to Leon and Lois (Bratcher) Keeling.

David was married to Faith Pisello-Keeling of Michigan City who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Lois (Virgil) Browning of Greenville, KY; his beloved children, Tina Keeling, Michael (Hollie) Keeling, and Philip (Brandi) Keeling all of La Porte; three stepsons, August, Austin, and Ashton Breitbarth of Michigan City; mother of David's children, Lisa Rowe of Claypool, IN; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Doyle (Leona) Keeling of La Porte.

He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Ronnie and Stephen Keeling; and two grandchildren.

David had been employed by Alpha Bakery. He owned and operated Keeling Auto Body. David enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved traveling especially to Kentucky. He also enjoyed going to car shows, flea markets, and spending time with his family. David attended Christ Gospel Church of La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 10 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Brother Ricky Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 8 pm on Wednesday, April 9 and on Thursday, April 10 from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
