David Lee Papp, Jr.

David Lee Papp, Jr., 51, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at his home.

David was born on January 1, 1969 in La Porte, IN, to David and Elke (Heinen) Papp.

Surviving David are his children, Mitchell Taviner-Papp and Adreanna Taviner-Papp, both of La Porte; 3 grandchildren, Jordyn Taviner, Jadalynn Levandoski, and Aaliyah Taviner, all of La Porte; siblings, Ricky Papp of La Porte, Ramona (Paul) Daniel of Fish Lake, and Margie Papp of Salem Heights; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Zachariah Papp.

David worked in construction for many years.  He enjoyed floating down the river and spending time with family.  David loved listening to classic rock.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Service and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery will take place at a later date.
