David Tolson

David Tolson, 74, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Golden Living Center La Porte.

David was born in La Porte, IN, on September 15, 1944 to Wallace and Sylvia Tolson.

David was preceded in death by his parents Sylvia and Wallace Tolson; wife, Patrica Diane Tolson (Owen); sister, Donna Tolson; and nephew, Michael Tolson.

Surviving are his children, Angie (Michael) Moser, Michael (Rachel) Tolson, Kelli VanMeter, and Danny (Lori) Tolson.

David shared a love for his grandchildren, Alex and Nick Moser, Andria VanMeter, Michael Tolson, Jr., Jenika Tolson,  and Austin and Alicia Tolson.

David lived a life of taking risks.  His grandchildren sat through many stories, some would consider tales.  His continued advice to them was, "Be nice to young people and old people".

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of the service on Wednesday. Interment will take place following the service at Pine Lake Cemetery.
