David Lloyd Wiltfong

David Lloyd Wiltfong, 63, of Lake Station, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at his home.

David was born in La Porte, IN, on October 28, 1955 to Clarence Edward and Helen Ileen (Paxton) Wiltfong.

On October 27, 1995 in Michigan City, IN he married Bonnie Daniels who survives.  Also surviving are his children, Katherine Wiltfong, Yolanda (Chad) Trobaugh, Susan (Andrew) McCann, Jennifer (Clifford) McCarty, Christina Logan, Amanda Wiltfong, Margot (Dennis) Holland and Bonnie Ann Wiltfong; many grandchildren; siblings, Esther (Phil) Coovert, Charles (Sue) Wiltfong, Delbert (Renee) Wiltfong, Dorothy Wiltfong and Robert (Marie) Wiltfong; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant son, David Lloyd Wiltfong, Jr.

David was a truck driver for 41 years.  He was a member of Union #705 .  David enjoyed driving his semi and gardening.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 29th Avenue Baptist Church, 116 E. 29th Ave., Lake Station, IN with Pastor Dennis Sampson officiating.
