Dean L. Wolff, 62, of Hanna, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso.
Dean was born on December 29, 1956 in La Porte, IN, to Louie A. and Marjorie E. (Clingenpeel) Wolff.
On June 12, 1976, he married Frances Kutch who survives. Also surviving are his beloved children, Jennifer (David) Metzger and Kate (Chuck) Wilhelm, both of Union Mills; 3 granddaughters, Eva Kay, Riley Jean, and Allyson Isabelle; 4 step grandchildren, Brittany Bradley, April, Justin, and Jack Metzger; siblings, Donna (Bill) Eaton of Union Mills, Donald "Bub" (Diane) Wolff of Union Mills, Carol (Dave) Howell of Union Mills, and Marjorie "Honey" (Robert) Baske of Hanna; nieces and nephews, Suzi (Kevin) Troyer, Lori (Norman) White, Richard Wolff, Mark Eaton, Michael (Dena) Eaton, Corey Eaton, David (Jamie) Howell, Kris (Jim) Hayes, and Scott (Trudy) Baske.
He was preceded by his parents.
Dean was an owner of Delta III Construction. He loved motorcycles and enjoyed tractor pulling and competition barbecuing. Dean was known for working hard and playing hard, living life to the fullest.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am (CT) on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Chaplain Sarah Samson officiating. Burial will follow at Union Mills Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 3 - 8 pm (CT) on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 and from 10 am (CT) until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
