Deana Grace, 90, of Mill Creek, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 7, 2020.
Deana was born on August 5, 1930 in Jasper, Alabama to John W. and Vina (Williams) Robertson.
On September 5, 1950 in Fulton, Mississippi, she married James P. Grace who preceded her in death on March 28, 2010. Surviving are her children, Ken (Janene) Grace of Mill Creek, Sandy Grace of South Bend and Debbie (Steve) Rorie of Edwardsburg, MI; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; siblings, C. B. Robertson of Jasper, AL, Tommy Robertson of Elkhart, and Robert Robertson of Knoxville, TN; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, 7 brothers, and 1 sister.
Deana was a seamstress for many years at NeedleCraft. She retired in 1997. One of Deana's greatest joys was spending time with her family.
Deana attended La Porte Assembly of God and was the co-founder of the Singing Grace Family, a Christian music ministry that traveled for many years. Her Christian music legacy touched the lives of many and continues through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. (CST) on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Hines officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 9 a.m. (CST) until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask.
Memorial donations may be made to the La Porte Assembly of God, 224 E. Boyd Blvd., La Porte, IN 46350.
