Diane Purtha

Diane Carol Purtha, 66, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 in La Porte.

Diane was born in La Porte, Indiana, on October 3, 1957 to Clement and Sylvia (Dubbert) Purtha.

Surviving are her beloved children, Carol (Joshua) Mansfield of Union Mills and Marie (Joe) Boo of Kingsford Heights; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Steve (Diane) Purtha of La Porte, Dennis (Nikki) Purtha of South Bend, Mike (Bev) Purtha of Sun City, Arizona, and Sue Redding of Mishawaka; life-long friend, Dawn (Jeff) Werner of Union Mills; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Diane was a factory worker at Janco Engineered Products for 10 years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church of La Porte. Diane enjoyed fishing, camping, drawing, watching sports, her faithful cat, Candy, outings with her siblings and Saturday morning coffee talks with her sister, Sue.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 12, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church of La Porte.

A time of visitation will be held after the service from 3 - 7 pm on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Cremation will take place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
