Dolores (Stevens) Webb

Mrs. Dolores (Stevens) Webb, (93), New Carlisle, IN, passed away on January 25, 2018, in New Carlisle, IN.

She was born on June 25, 1924, in Salyersville, KY, daughter of the late Raleigh Stevens and Mary K. (Stephens) Stevens.  She was a former resident of Kingsford Heights, IN, and has lived at the Hamilton Grove Retirement Center in New Carlisle, IN, for several years.

During WWII, Dolores worked at KOP on military airplanes.  She was an expert seamstress and crocheter.  She also was an amazing quilter, teaching others the craft of quilting.  She attended Hamilton Church in New Carlisle, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas E. Webb, whom she married on December 18, 1947 in Paintsville, Kentucky; her son, Paul Douglas Webb; sister, Carol Morris; and brother, Paul Stevens.

Dolores is survived by her daughters, Debra (Bennie) George of Killeen, TX,  Denise (David) Fullmer of New Carlisle, IN, and Danette (K. Mark) Daniel of Avon, IN; and son, David (Cathy) Webb, Kingsford Heights, IN; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great, great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Oak Grove Cemetery.
