Donald Carlson, 55, formerly of Rubidoux, California, died at 7:47 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2004 at the VA Lakeside Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
A private family service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Smith officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted.
Donald was born November 6, 1949, in Michigan City, Indiana to Carl T. & Elaine Rae (Green) Carlson Sr.
Surviving him are 3 sisters, Carol Zellers of Union Mills, IN, Kathy Clemons of Fish Lake, IN and Delores Koepke of Kingsford Heights, IN; a brother, Carl Carlson, Jr. of Riverside, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents and grandparents preceded him in death.
Donald had worked as an electronics engineer for the Zenith Corporation in Chicago. He was a LaPorte High School graduate and he graduated with a perfect GPA award form Modern Technology Industrial College in San Bernardino, California. He was also a Vietnam veteran serving with the United States Navy.
